Cross-cultural Nollywood-Bollywood series Postcards, described by its producers as a “feel-good dramedy,” is set to debut on Netflix on May 3.

Filmed across India and Nigeria, Postcard’s cast includes Sola Sobowale, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Nancy Isime, Tobi Bakre and Rahama Sadau.

The show is produced by Lagos-based prodco Forever7 Entertainment, the company behind the 2020 Nollywood-Bollywood romcom movie Namaste Wahala.

Hamisha Daryani-Ahuja, executive producer at Forever7, said: “I’m super excited to announce that our show Postcards series will be arriving on Netflix on May 3rd! This means it will be premiering next month in over 190 countries to an audience of over 260 million people!

“After the exciting success of Namaste Wahala, super excited for you guys to see Nigeria and India come together again but this time with a whole different flavour. Mark your calendars and get ready for an unforgettable experience that will touch your heart and soul.”

Postcards follows the stories of four individuals on a rollercoaster of emotions – from joy to frustration, from grief to triumph, from love to heartbreak, and everything in between. “When a Nigerian single mother travels to India for a medical check-up, her journey will end up touching the lives of everyone she meets,” according to Netflix.
