Zed brings in Zoé Turpin for sales role
French documentary producer and distributor Zed has rejigged its sales team after appointing Zoé Turpin as sales manager for France and sub-Saharan Africa.

Turpin has over 15 years of experience within the audiovisual sector, having worked as a sales assistant at Newen Studio before joining The Walt Disney Company France as sales coordinator.
Since 2016, she has served as an international sales manager for several French production and distribution companies, including Balanga, Arte France and Autour de Minuit.
Turpin will also manage documentary acquisitions for Zed’s digital department. Zed’s sales in France and sub-Saharan were previously handled by Esther Pinto.
Turpin’s arrival coincides with a reorganisation of the sales team at Zed. Lucy Le Grueic will now handle sales in English-speaking territories (US, UK, Oceania), Scandinavia, Italian-speaking territories, Spain and Portugal, as well as international project acquisitions.
Chloé Chevrier, who joined last year, is in charge of Asia, excluding Japan, the Middle East, French-speaking Europe and Canada and Greece as well as in-flight and maritime partners.
Pinto now manages the territories of Eastern Europe, CIS Russia, the Baltic States, Israel and Latin America.
Meanwhile, Zed head of sales Charlotte Tachet, who joined the company last year, is responsible for coproductions and pre-sales and for selling to German-speaking partners and Japan.
Zed was founded by Manuel Catteau almost 30 years ago and has a catalogue of 2,500 hours.
