Potelwa to host Tropika Island of Treasure

Television presenter Zanele Potelwa is set to be the host of 11th season of SAFTA award-winning reality show, Tropika Island of Treasure.

Tropika Island of Treasure is a South African reality competition TV show featuring a blend of local celebrities and everyday contestants who take part in various challenges set on a luxurious paradise island. The ultimate prize at stake is R1 million.

The 13-episode show will be sponsored by Clover’s Tropika and produced by Cape Town-based Cardova Productions. Tropika Island of Treasure S11 will debut on SABC3 from September.

“What a dream come true. Literally, I get to say I’m the new host of Tropika Island of Treasure? This is such a huge milestone in my career and it’s about to be an amazing Season 11. I can’t believe I’m being trusted with such a big legacy show,” said Potelwa.
