TV deal cooked up for Pimp My Pot
Cooking show Pimp My Pot will soon be on TV screens in Nigeria thanks to a deal between FMCG company Flourmills Nigeria, ad agency PHD Media Nigeria and a production company in Lagos.
The show and the related online competition are sponsored by Flourmills-owned semolina brand Golden Penny Semovita and will be produced by prodco Koudih. Omnicom Media Group-owned PHD commissioned the programme.
The show will allow participants to enjoy delicacies made by industry chefs from the comfort of their homes. They also stand a chance to win kitchen utensils worth N20,000 (US$50) and two months’ supply of Semovita pasta and noodles.
The food company took to Instagram to say: “Your kitchen, your pot, our recipes. Bring out your cookware and have your utensils laid out, because when the #GPPimpMyPot crew comes to your kitchen, we want to get right to cooking delicious meals for you and your family.”
Those interested in taking part should click here to fill in a participation form and upload a short video of their kitchen for a chance to be shortlisted. The launch date for the show is yet to be announced.
