Talent show Cradle2Fame launches

Talent and business reality show Cradle2Fame, which aims to uncover creative talent and skills in the entertainment industry, is looking for participants.

The show is intended to create a platform for up-and-coming talent to showcase their skills and give them state-of-the-art training to prepare them for the global stage.

The series is supported by companies such as Kingsprime TV, Blessworld Foundation International (Nigeria Chapter), Kisik Sports and Fitness Camp.

Although the channels airing the show have not been announced, audio visual content will be generated on streaming platforms through web and mobile applications, as well as other channels in various entertainment businesses.

The winner will be awarded N5m, endorsement deals with sponsors, a trip to Canada and a global deal, while the first and second runners up will receive N2m and N1m respectively.

The show will provide “up to N7m in consolation prizes for 120 finalists, endorsement deal with sponsors, mentorship training, business tours, business set-up, regular international conferences, foreign partnerships, training, scholarships,” said a statement on its website.

Contestants will also be given a one-year free Kingsprime TV subscription, automatic membership of the Blessworld foundation family, mentorship training as well as access to microcredit facilities.

The aspiring participants will have to go through three stages: online registration, face-to-face auditions and award presentations. To contest categories such as acting, music, comedy, fashion, media and information technology, register by clicking here.

Brand ambassadors for the show include Nollywood actors Ebube Nwagbo, Lateef Adedimeji and Onyinye Ilechukwu.
