Nollywood films Stand Up Movie and The One for Sarah are set for cinema release next month.

Stand Up Movie, premiering on October 14, is produced by Peekaboo Global Consulting and Film One Entertainment. It tells the story of a simple electrician from Warri in Delta state, Nigeria, who decides he wants to make it big in the city of Lagos to save his sister.

The film’s cast includes Richard Mofe Damijo, Richard Ayodeji Makun, Duncan Mofe Jay, Anita Asuoha and Paul Olope.

Meanwhile, romantic drama The One for Sarah premieres on October 28 and follows a woman who has had a roller coaster of emotional abuse and love at the hands of three men and is on the path to rediscover her self-worth.

The film is written by Dimiyei Sammy, directed by Lyndsey Esejuku, produced by Uche Okocha and distributed by Film One Entertainment. It stars Beverly Naya, Bimbo Ademoye, Etim Effiong, Uzor Arukwe, Broda Shaggi and Bolaji Ogunmola.
