Plan C, the new comedy movie from Nigerian journalist and PR executive turned filmmaker Samuel Olatunji (aka Bigsam), is now in post-production.

Plan C tells the story of a couple whose parents try to ensure the future of their company and cement their long-time friendship by forcing their eligible children into an arranged marriage.

Nollywood talent starring in the movie include Nkem Owoh, Akin Lewis, Yvonne Jegede, Lizzy Jay, Bimbo Akintola, Faithia Balogun, Uzor Arukwe and Frank Donga.

Olatunji, who is CEO of his own production company Bigsam Media, said the premiere of Plan C would be held at the Eko Hotel, Lagos, next year.

The movie was shot using the Sony Venice 2 camera, the same camera that was used to shoot Avatar: The Way of Water, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Top Gun: Maverick. According to the producers, this is the first time this camera has been used in an Africa production.

“We are the first to use Sony Venice 2 camera in Africa. We are not just being ambitious; we are simply following in the footsteps of some great movies before us. Plan C the movie is coming, it will be the biggest comedy film ever made from this part of the world,” Olatunji said.
