Its themes revolve around love, betrayal, stigma, sexual abuse, violence and power.
The cast includes award-winning music star Omawumi Megbele; broadcaster and publisher Adesuwa Onyenokwe; Nollywood actors Ibrahim Suleiman, Nengi Adoki, Odunlade Adekolaare and Tony Umez; comedian Akpororo; Ghanaian actor Kobby Acheampong; Cameroonian actor and dancer Lea Dibebe; and actress and author Damilare Kuku.
Chatroom is distributed by FilmOne Entertainment and has Onyenokwe as its associate producer. The movie will also have its exclusive official premiere on April 17 at the Wheatbaker Hotel in Ikoyi, Lagos.
