Lekki TV has launched its online TV channel and also inaugurated its photography and video studio.
John Ayeke, chairman of Lekki TV, said the platform was created to help boost the entertainment industry in Nigeria.
“The aim of Lekki TV is to create a platform for upcoming generations to grow in the entertainment industry. Our focus is on the music and movie industries, sourcing local content and pushing it out to the world,” he said.
Lekki TV currently offers more than 20 free-to-air programmes, from movies to talkshows.
“We are giving opportunities to upcoming artistes to showcase their talents and secure international opportunities,” Ayeke said.
Programmes on Lekki TV include Street Voice, Celebrity Lounge, Political Moments and Nude on the Beach.
