They include NCI – La Nouvelle Chaine Ivoirienne, the first private Ivorian television channel, which has demonstrated a strong potential since its launch in Africa. It is broadcast in Côte d’Ivoire via TNT and via cable and satellite elsewhere in Africa.

The second channel is CDirect, which presents a positive outlook of Congo, while the third channel is SunuYeuf, a 100% Wolof broadcaster that offers more than 1,000 hours of Wolof-language programming every year.

According to Thema, the Le Bouquet Africain and Le Bouquet Africain Premium packages now include up to 12 and 29 channels, respectively.

Timothée Vidal, Thema’s senior VP of multicultural distribution and digital, said: “Le Bouquet Africain keeps evolving to propose the most relevant channels to the French-speaking African diaspora in France.”

Novelas TV is already distributed by Free and Bouygues Telecom in France, while A+ is already available from Free, Orange and Bouygues Telecom. Furthermore, much of the content on A+ is already available via +D’Afrique, the OTT service included on Le Bouquet Africain Premium on SFR.

Le Bouquet Africain is constantly evolving to suit the diaspora’s expectations.”

According to Thema, SFR now comprises up to 23 channels as well as the +D’Afrique On Demand catalogue.

Thema distributes more than 180 TV channels worldwide and has partnerships with major pay TV platforms in France, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia, Canada and the US/Latin America.
