KingKong Productions, a Nigerian company owned by entertainment entrepreneur Lekan Olaleye, has launched a movie platform.
iNaki TV focuses on telling African stories, offering premium Yoruba movies on-demand.
Olaleye said: “There is so much we are developing for our fans and followers – the launch of iNaki TV is just one of our projects towards promoting African movies told in a way that appeals to all movie lovers.
“We know how hard it is for filmmakers and social media producers to monetise their digital content on social media pages. Our business model is very easy and straightforward: you submit your new films, we market and premiere your films on our streaming platform Inaki TV and you earn revenue as soon as viewers subscribe to watch your content on our platform.
“We do your marketing for you through our growing database of subscribers and market research; we share the analytics and revenue-allocation updates with you and advise. This help us to see which of your content is trending.”
The new platform is based in South Africa with an office in the US, and is aimed at curating and broadcasting independent African content from filmmakers and social media skit producers to premiere their films and short skits for revenue purposes.
