BBNaija’s Rico gets marching orders

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Double Wahala housemate Rico Swavey has been evicted, leaving seven contestants in the reality show.

After a fight with fellow contestant Alex on Saturday, it was announced in the Sunday live eviction show that Rico had the fewest public votes.

He did not leave the show empty handed, however, because he had already won the Duo Clip Nokia challenge, alongside Tobi, receiving prize money of one million naira, a Nokia 8 Bothie phone and shopping vouchers.

Speaking about life after the show, Rico said he plans to open a restaurant and pursue a music career. “I have also come to love acting. I will be putting more energy in to achieve more,” he added.

Miracle, Cee-C, Lolu, Nina and Alex were up for eviction alongside Rico.

BBNaija plans housemate reunion

Reality TV show Big Brother Naija is set to hold a reunion for the housemates who participated in the 2018 edition, tagged Double Wahala.

Pay TV company MultiChoice made the announcement after the launch of its dedicated pop-up channel recently.

The 2018 housemates are Nina, Teddy, Vandora, K Brule, Alex, D One, Princess, Miracle, Ahneeka, Bam Bam, Rico Swavey, Chloe, Angel, Bitto, Ifu Ennada, Leo, Tobi, Lolu, Cee-C and Anto.

Rumours have suggested the winner of the 2018 show, Miracle Ikechukwu, may not be able to attend.

BBNaija evicts three

Housemates Lolu, Khloe and Anto have been evicted in the latest twist in the ongoing saga of reality TV show Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Double Wahala.

Khloe and Anto, who had previously left the show, were once again evicted from BBNaija, though this was Khloe’s first eviction because she was disqualified the first time.

Lolu was also evicted on Sunday during the live eviction show, leaving Cee C and Miracle to remain in the game due to their higher number of public votes.

Earlier in the week, Alex was made head of house, guaranteeing her a spot in the finals, and she nominated Tobi to be alongside her in the final stage of the competition, saving him from being nominated for eviction. Nina also qualified for the finals.

Only one week is left in the season.
