Global streaming platform Netflix has added Nigerian series Crazy, Lovely, Cool to its expanding catalogue of Nollywood content.

Directed by Obi Emelonye (Last Flight to Abuja), the hour-long series is a coproduction between broadcaster Trace TV and prodco The Nollywood Factory. It features Nollywood stars including Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Uru Eke and Enyinna Nwigwe.

The series, which was filmed in 2017 on the main campus of the University of Nigeria in Enugu, focuses on the activities of university undergraduates and their lecturers.

Emelonye’s other credits include Badamasi: Portrait of a General, which tells the life story of General Ibrahim Babangida.
