SynProNize falls for GMA romance

NEWS BRIEF: Dubai-based producer and distributor SynProNize has acquired romantic dramas A Place in Your Heart, Heart & Soul, Legally Blind and The Way to Your Heart from Filipino broadcaster GMA Network for distribution into Africa.

Nitin Michael, who co-founded SynProNize with Hasnaa Descuns in July 2020, said the demand for Filipino dramas is “swiftly on the rise.” Roxanne J Barcelona, VP of worldwide at GMA Network, added that all four programmes are already performing “extremely well” in other parts of the world.
