SuperSport lines up sports movies

MultiChoice’s SuperSport channels are set to broadcast an extensive line-up of sports movies.

Starting this weekend at 19.30 WAT on SuperSport 1, viewers will be able to watch movies including Oscar winner Jerry Maguire, Sylvester Stallone boxing franchise Rocky 1-5, rugby story Invictus, Cinderella Man, Million Dollar Baby, The Waterboy and more.

John Ugbe, chief executive of MultiChoice Nigeria, said: “We’ve negotiated with all the major studios to bring viewers this incredible line-up. There really is something here for everyone, many of them classics with lines and scenes that resonate as strongly as ever.”
