Sugar Bean’s Ntokozo Mbuli joins IATAS
Ntokozo Mbuli, founder of South African media production company Sugar Bean Pictures, has been elected as a member of the New York-based International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (IATAS).
Mbuli was among a number of new IATAS members comprising leading media and entertainment professionals from 21 countries.
“On behalf of our president and CEO, Bruce Paisner, and the International Academy nominating committee, we are proud to welcome our newly elected members,” stated the organisation.
Mbuli is known for being the face of environmental and wildlife programming and the brains behind some of South Africa’s award-winning content across genres. She sat on the judging panel of the South African Film & TV Awards between 2014 and 2021, and on the jury of the International Emmy Awards from 2017 and 2021.
