South African movie Good Life is set to premiere via several outlets in the US tomorrow, after winning prizes at the Berlin and Toronto independent film festivals.

Erica Wessels stars in Good Life

Good Life will be available on Apple’s iTunes Store, Amazon Prime Video, Vudu, Xfinity/Comcast, Spectrum, YouTube Movies, DirecTV, Verizon and Hoopla Digital, among others.

The US deals for the movie, set in Cape Town and Greece, come from a partnership between LA-based distributors Angel Oak Films and Level 33 Entertainment. The film is produced by Rodini Films and Inverse Films.

Good Life follows the story of a 35-year-old woman called Olive, played by Erica Wessels, who flees Cape Town for Greece to try to mend her broken heart but is faced with hostility from the local villagers. She is then befriended by a seven-year-old Albanian refugee who teaches her how to live the good life.

It was written and directed by Bonnie Rodini and also stars Caleb Payne, Robyn Scott, Leon Clingman, Marco Mintaka and Sven Ruygrok.
