Seun Arowojolu opens The Chronicles

Nigerian filmmaker Seun Arowojolu’s drama series The Chronicles is set to premiere today on Wazobia Max and Wazobia TV on UHF 33, DStv 259, GOtv 128 and StarTimes 195.

The series is written, directed and produced by Arowojolu (Squatterz, Birds of a Feather) and filmed, shot and edited at Lagos-based ContentGram Studios Africa, where Arowojolu is executive creative director.

The cast includes Chioma Jennifer, Shola Johnson Victor Inyang, Isabella Joseph Emmanuel Adodo, Gloria Opara and Kingsley Bewi.

The series is about two sisters whose serene life is shattered by the death of their maternal grandmother, leaving behind not only profound memories but also a multi-billion-naira estate and the shocking revelation of a 27-year-old son.

The Chronicles is described by the producers as “not just a tale of inheritance and family ties but a riveting journey of power struggles, hidden truths and the unrelenting race for affluence.”
