Amazon’s Ukonwa Ojo partners Taeps

Former Amazon Prime Video executive Ukonwa Ojo has entered into a collaboration with Nigeria’s Taeps Animation Studios.

Using her extensive experience in marketing and brand strategy, she will help the company to present global audiences with the best of African culture.

Ojo is founder and CEO of Zaia Ventures and previously global chief marketing officer at Prime Video.

Taeps Animation said in a statement: “For us, this deal marks a great partnership with Ukonwa, bringing her wealth of experience from Amazon, Mac, Unilever, RB to Taeps and our team at large.”

During her time at Prime Video, Ojo promoted eight of the 10 biggest shows in the platform’s history. She led the marketing campaigns for blockbuster movies like Coming 2 America and Being the Ricardos as well as acclaimed series such as The Boys, Wheel of Time and The Underground Railroad.
