Prime Video takes on Kill Boro

Kill Boro, the upcoming Nollywood movie directed by Nigerian filmmaker Courage Obayuwana, will debut on Prime Video on March 30, following a deal with Amazon.

The movie is a First Features project, an initiative led by Nigerian filmmakers Steve Gukas (Cake) and Dotun Olakunri (93 Days) intended to help new directors get their first films made.

The storyline centres on a desperate son and debt-ridden father who fight for their lives. Set in Azuama, it is “a gripping tale that explores the themes of family, survival, sacrifice and the enduring hope of redemption,” according to the producers.

The cast includes Ini-Dima Okojie, Greg Ojefua, Hilda Dokubo, Brutus Richard, and child actors Kosisochukwu Samuel Ogboruche and Beloved Osagie.
