Pan African Global TV debuts
A new company called Pan African Global TV has launched, comprising a group of channels highlighting the lifestyles, cultures and traditions of Africa and the African diaspora.
Founded by media professional Iyeshatu Ajawara, the TV company will offer viewers a broad range of educatiional and inspiring content.
Headquartered in Los Angeles, it will feature shows and movies as well as provide a platform for services including AfroBeat Wave TV and Panaflix.
The Pan African Global TV group of channels includes VoD, linear streams and IPTV networks. The service is now available for live streaming via Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Google TV and the company’s own website.
Sierra Leone-born Ajawara said: “I am not reinventing the wheel. I am providing more options with cultural relevance because Black shows matter. I created this platform to be a place where talented content providers from Africa and her diaspora can showcase their work.”
