Omo Ghetto is a sequel to the 2010 movie

A number of Nollywood movies are set to make their debuts in cinemas this month and throughout December.

They include high-school musical Loud, family-oriented comedy-drama Introducing The Kujus and sequel Omo Ghetto (aka The Saga).

Loud – standing for ‘Live Out Your Dream’ – is directed by Umanu Ojochenemi Elijah for Krystal Filmworks. The cast features Wole Ojo, Eucharia Anunobi, Timini Egbuson, Sophie Alakija, Bolanle Ninalowo, Jide Kosoko, Sydney Talker, Craze Clown and Abayomi Alvin. It will debut on November 20.

Introducing The Kujus follows a family of characters and, like every big Nigerian family, when they gather, comedy and drama are the end result.

The movie stars Bisola Aiyeola, who doubles as coproducer, as well as Ronke Odusanya, Sophie Alakija, Bimbo Ademoye, MC Lively, Chris Iheuwa, Mimi Onalaja, Timini Egbuson and Femi Jacobs.

It is directed by Biodun Stephen, produced by Winnie Okpapi and distributed by Film One Entertainment. It will debut on November 27.

Omo Ghetto, meanwhile, is a sequel to the 2010 hit movie of the same name and resumes the story of Lefty and her friends Nikky, Busty and Chummy Choko. The story follows twin sisters leading separate lives but who are reunited by a series of dramatic twists.

The cast includes Funke Akindele-Bello, Chioma Akpotha, Eniola Badmus, Bimbo Thomas, Akah Nnani, Alex Ekubo, Zubby Michael, Deyemi Okanlawon, Timini Egbuson, Nancy Isime, Paschaline Alex and Mercy Aigbe.

It is directed and produced by Funke Akindele and JJC Skillz and will debut on December 25.
