Three new Nollywood movies are debuting in cinemas this month, titled Egun (November 10), Praise Party (November 10) and Ifediche (November 17).

Egun is produced by production houses Singularity Media, Film Trybe and FilmOne Studios, directed by Carmen Ike Okoro and written by Kayode Kasum and Dare Olaitan. It delves into the darker areas of the corporate world, offering a fresh perspective on what can lurk there.

The film stars Omowunmi Dada, Gideon Okeke, Uzor Arukwe, Bolaji Ogunmola, Femi Jacobs, Tomike Adeoye, Vee Iye and Adedimeji Lateef.

Praise Party, meanwhile, is about an African marriage in crisis. The husband is emotionally abusive and enabled by his irrational mother while the wife bears the brunt of the toxicity and experiences a nervous breakdown.

The movie is produced by Anuli Ajagu and the cast includes Kunle Remi, Tina Mba, Hadiza Abubakar, Sola Fosudo and Anuli Ajagu.

Lastly, Ifedichie follows a university-trained village girl who decides to embrace her roots in the quest to achieve the lofty dreams the big city failed to give her, but first she has to surmount unforeseen obstacles.

The film is described by the producers as a family drama that depicts tenacity, discipline and sincerity. It is produced by Brown Ene and stars Pete Edochie, Jide Ekene, Ebere Okaro and Jasmine Naza.
