Nollywood movie duo get release dates
Two new Nollywood movies, Obara’M and Passport, are set to debut in cinemas in the coming weeks.
Obara’M (My Blood) will premiere on August 26. The musical movie tells the story of an emerging musician who is forced to confront her true self and her past mistakes.
Produced by Kayode Kasum and directed by Dare Olaitan, its cast includes Nancy Isime, Onyeka Onwenu, Ikponmwosa Gold and Deyemi Okanlawon.
Passport, meanwhile, is a ghetto comedy that will be released on September 2. It follows two main characters as they find themselves intertwined while trying to navigate a new life together.
Passport is distributed by Film One Entertainment, directed by Dimeji Ajibola and produced by Vincent Okonkwo. It stars Mercy Johnson-Okojie, Jim Iyke, Zubby Micheal, Adedeji Lateef and Emem Ufot.
