NIFS sets up talent development initiative
The Nigerian International Film Summit (NIFS) has announced an industry talent development programme that will be unveiled at this year’s edition of the summit in Lagos.
The move is designed to support talent development, bridge the gaps in current skill sets and build capacity in technical skills development, audio and sound design, local- and foreign-language localisation and script writing and story development.
Ijeoma Onah, the founder of NIFS, took to Instagram to say the talent programme will run alongside the film summit, which will be held from August 30 to September 1.

“We will be unveiling our partners in a press conference and invite further partnerships from local and international companies with special interest in the development of the Nigerian film industry and breaking those norms limiting the expansion and global positioning of projects coming out of Nigeria,” Onah added.
