The Nigerian International Film & TV Summit (NIFS) has revealed the dates and locations of its events for this year.
The summit seeks to promote the Nigerian film industry globally through networking and providing business insights into untapped opportunities in Nigeria’s audiovisual sector.
This year’s events will be held in various cities: Paris, France (April 14-15); Lagos, Nigeria (September 6-8); Toronto, Canada (September 15-16), London (October 13-14), UK; and Los Angeles (November 3-4), US.
Areas of focus include OTT disruption; the future of traditional versus digital monetisation and distribution across borders; and leveraging technology and innovative solutions for the creation and distribution of FAST channels to drive maximum revenues.
Ijeoma Onah, founder of the NIFS, said: “I am super grateful to God almighty that since 2017 when we launched our first edition, American Film Market, we have remained focused on positioning Nigerian professionals and businesses in the film ecosystem for international business and collaborations.
“Our success stories in international bridge-building speak volumes for us and we remain committed to creating awareness, driving the right conversations presenting and projecting the positive trajectory and progress of the Nigerian film industry. We look forward to great partnerships that will drive value with undeniable impact for our partners and attendees this year.”
