The application process for entrepreneurs hoping to compete in the forthcoming season of reality show The Next Titan has begun.

The fifth edition of the Nigerian programme is set to commence soon and interested participants can register on its website. Auditions will be held in Lagos, Enugu, Port Harcourt and Abuja.

Some 50 participants aged between 21 and 40 will be selected to participate in a boot camp, following which 16 entrepreneurs will be chosen as finalists.

They will then live together for 10 weeks, engaging in weekly business tasks and pitches that showcase their business acumen and drive. The most outstanding entrepreneur will win a cash prize of N5m (US$13,900) and a car.

The show will feature industry leaders as judges, including Chris Parkes, CEO of CPMS Africa; Kyari Bukar, chairman of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group; Tonye Cole, CEO of Sahara Group; and Lilian Olubi, CEO of Primera Securities Africa.

The Next Titan will air on various TV channels that are yet to be disclosed. The show is produced by Lagos-based Bravopoints International and sponsored by Heritage Bank.

The fourth season of The Next Titan aired last year on Silverbird TV and TV Continental and was won by Kennedy Iyeh.
