Mzansi Magic unveils Queen Modjadji

South African entertainment channel Mzansi Magic has unveiled new drama series Queen Modjadji, which will broadcast on Mzansi Magic (DStv 161) from July.

The series is produced by Rhythm World Productions and Duma Ndlovu and its cast include Makoma Mohale as Queen Modjadji, supported by Mudi Mudau, Putla Setlapelo, Priscilla Raboroko, Aubrey Mmakola, Moses Raseleke and Candy TsaMaNdebele.

Queen Modjadji is set in South Africa’s Limpopo province and is inspired by the Balobedu legend of rainmaker Queen Modjadji whose bloodline ruled Southern Africa’s Lobedu clan for centuries.
