Mo Abudu in Variety500 list

Mo Abudu, the British-Nigerian entrepreneur and CEO of EbonyLife Media, has been included in the fifth annual edition of the Variety500, which identifies the 500 most influential business leaders in the entertainment industry.
Published by Hollywood film and TV trade magazine Variety, it reflects the accomplishments of its members over the previous 12 months and also highlights the most important people in global media.
Abudu said on Instagram: “The God that just keeps giving, thank you oh Lord. What a year. I am proud to be counted amongst the Variety500 2021. They were selected by the Variety editorial board, which conducted extensive research for its selections. Variety, thank you for this honour.”
EbonyLife recently struck a partnership deal with Lionsgate-owned US network Starz for an African period drama named Queen Nzinga, while its Creative Academy continues to equip aspiring industry professionals with the practical and technical skills necessary to build a successful career in both the Nigerian and international entertainment markets.
