Media giants converge at NECLive
Media giants and entertainment gurus convened at the sixth edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference (NECLive) yesterday to discuss potential solutions to the issues facing Nigeria’s creative industry.
Hosted by Tee A at the Landmark Event Center, Lagos, the conference was themed ‘Understanding Emerging Markets, Trends and Opportunities.’
Figures from across the creative industry addressed keynote issues and queries from attendees.
Speakers included Jason Njoku, Lasisi Elenu, Dbanj, Muyiwa Faulkner, Cobhams Asuquo, Obi Asika, Martin Mabutho, Ezegozie Eze, Damien Okorafor, Jide Taiwo, Brymo, Simi, Darey Art Alade, Kelvin Orifa, Colette Otusheso, Sam Oyemelukwe, Ubi Franklin, Richard Nnadi, Bizzle Osikoya, Deji Awokoya, Tochukwu Tagbo, Daddy Freeze, Seun Okinbaloye and Sir Shina Peters.
Among the topics of discussion were the power of technology in entertainment, how to monetise ideas, understanding new media and the power of social media.
Held every year since 2013, NECLive brings together practitioners from different spheres of the entertainment industry for one day of conversations, workshops, exhibitions and master classes.
