Media Brokerage, Dancestar TV ink deal
Pan-African broadcaster Media Brokerage Africa has entered into an exclusive distribution, content sales and advertising partnership deal with OTT live-stream channel Dancestar Television.
Dancestar Ventures CEO Andy Ruffell said: “As part of our 2021 expansion strategy, we are extending our reach to 60-plus OTT platforms worldwide, including Africa.
“Media Brokerage Africa provides unrivalled expertise in pan-African distribution, content sales and advertising, so they are the obvious choice to help Dancestar TV penetrate the African market. Media Brokerage Africa will enable us to deliver a measurable platform for major brands to engage with the electronic dance music culture in Africa.”

US-based Dancestar TV targets 12- to 54-year-olds and features a mix of news, interviews, festival features and music videos. Media Brokerage Africa operates across all broadcasting platforms including, free-to-air, pay TV, digital switchover and OTT.
