LoveWorld TV expands to Verizon
LoveWorld USA TV, the channel owned by Nigerian pastor Chris Oyakilome, will be added to American telco giant Verizon’s pay TV offering in the US next month.
The evangelical Christian lifestyle network aims to reach a wider audience with diverse Christian content while retaining its original programmes. It will launch on Verizon channel 795 on March 1.
The move will see LoveWorld’s content made available to Verizon subscribers in Washington DC, New York and more than 30 other US cities, which the channel said “make up America’s political, business and economic centres.”
LoveWorld USA TV, part of Oyakilome’s Lagos-based Believers’ Loveworld Incorporated, is also looking to expand the channel’s footprint further around the world. The network is a spin-off from LoveWorld TV, launched in 2017 by Oyakilome in partnership with Israeli pastor Benny Hinn.
