Themed as Final Destination, the competition is now in its ninth edition and is targeted at young people between the ages of 12 and 15. The youngsters will participate in a cycling event taking place on four streets of Lagos, namely Isale Eko, Mafoluku, Ajegunle and Ikorodu.

While specific broadcasting details are yet to be announced, the event will be aired in Nigerian on Channels TV and Lagos State Television.

According to the organisers, the competition is aimed at providing an unforgettable experience, excitement and challenges that will push young people to their limits.

Ikechukwu Agada, team leader at Saved City Incorporation, said: “Final Destination is a winner-takes-all event aimed at bringing young people together for an adventure like no other before it or anywhere else in the world.

“Final Destination stands out because unlike most races where speed determines success, this race involves solving puzzles along its course, which allows participants to have clear paths on where to turn and maneuver through obstacles until they reach their final destination point.”

The show is produced by sports and entertainment company Saved City Incorporation and sponsored by Checkers Custard, Devon Kings Oil, Honda, Fanmilk, Simba Planet, Cinelab and newspaper Punch with official partnership from International Education-Hub.
