Funke Akindele teases A Tribe Called Judah

Nollywood actor and filmmaker Funke Akindele (Jenifa’s Diary, My Siblings & I) has begun production on her new movie A Tribe Called Judah.

A Tribe Called Judah is co-directed by Akindele and fellow film director Adeoluwa Owu and is set for release this year. The move comes after Akindele’s movie Battle on Buka Street hit cinemas last year and debuted on Amazon Prime Video this year.

While few details have been revealed about A Tribe Called Judah, the confirmed cast members include Nse Ikpe Etim, Timini Egbuson, Jide Kene A, Nosa Rex, Uzor Arukwe, Olumide Owuru, Genoveva Umeh, Uzee Usman and Boma Akpore.

“It was so much fun and hard work on this project, #atribecalledjudah. You guys will love it! Coming soon!! December,” said Akindele.
