FilmOne movie Orisa lands on Amazon

Epic Nigerian movie Orisa is set to premiere on Amazon’s streaming platform Prime Video this weekend.

The movie is directed by Odunomo Adekola, produced by FilmOne Studios and distributed by FilmOne Entertainment. The cast includes Femi Adebayo, Shaffy Bello, Jide Kosoko, Dele Odule and Muyiwa Ademola.

Set in Yoruba land, Orisa follows a warrior who joins forces with a band of highly proficient fighters. Their illicit undertakings become a challenge for both the king and other underworld factions in the city.

The film was released in cinemas last July and made it into the top five highest grossing Nollywood films of the year. FilmOne licensed the movie to Prime Video.
