The 20- to 30-minute podcast aims to celebrate the achievements and participation of young people in the growth and development of Africa by telling extraordinary stories from across the continent and in the diaspora.

Each episode will feature a remarkable young African telling their story and celebrating the giant strides taken by the youth of Africa.

Channels Media Group is behind the Channel TV network in Nigeria.

John Momoh, chairman of Channels Media Group, said: “We as change-makers in the broadcast industry, are delighted to team up with the LSE to birth this project, and we are confident that its impact will reverberate around the world.’’

Firoz Lalji, founder of FLIA, added: “Building on our Programme for African Leadership, LSE is proud to embark on this pioneering coproduction with Channels TV to tell the stories of some extraordinary young Africans to inspire a generation of future leaders.”

The collaboration is part of a long-term vision to provide the youth of Africa with a great platform to tell their stories, according to the producers.

The podcast will stream on Channels TV, YouTube and social media platforms.
