Broda Shaggi to star in Bag of Trouble

Nollywood actor Broda Shaggi (Namste Wahala, King of Thieves) is to star as the lead in the satirical film A Bag of Trouble.

The movie is written and directed by Mazi Chimex and produced by Michael Chimex Onwunali and Collis T Miller for Tehilla Films and Spinning Films. The cast also includes Oga Sabinus, Hafeez Oyetoro, Jide Kosoko and Bimbo Oshin.

Shot in the ancient Nigerian city of Ibadan, the film tells the story of a struggling young man whose world comes to a halt after he receives a token of gratitude from a wealthy politician.

Suddenly finding himself rich beyond his imagination, he must fight his own mind and the evil he perceives closing in, or slide back into the tough world he knows.

“After you pray, are you ready for answers?” said the production company on Instagram.

A premiere date for A Bag of Trouble has yet to be announced.
