Nigerian actor Bisola Aiyeola has been named as the host of TV gameshow Family Feud Nigeria.

Family Feud sees two families go head-to-head answering simple survey questions. The Nigerian version is being produced by Ultima Studios.

Aiyeola announced the casting news on Instagram, saying: “Ultima Studios auditioned over a 100 possible hosts, brought to you by Ultima Studios and MTN Nigeria. This is like a little dream come true for me because it’s been a long journey with my Ultima family here. What makes this really special for me is that this is a major milestone in my life.

“I am so excited for this journey with Ultima and MTN, seeing as we started out years ago with Project Fame West Africa.”

According to Aiyeola, she is also the first black female host on the 46-year-old format.
