Aniunoh’s Love Language set to debut
Intertribal love story film Love Language, written by Nollywood actor Uzoamaka Aniunoh, is set to be released.
Set in Lagos, the movie follows Chioma, played by Aniunoh, and Abdul as they navigate their love and differences. One conversation puts their bond to the test.
It is produced by Josh Olaoluwa and executive produced by Mudiakeoghene Ori-Jesu.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the film, Aniunoh said: “In 2019, I wrote a short film inspired by an observation titled Love Language and I shared it with my sister and she loved it. In 2020, I shared it with [Mudiakeoghene Ori-Jesu] and he loved it.
“Fear set in – it seemed too real and I came up with reasons why no time was a good time to shoot Love Language. I wrote a short film, coproduced it and directed it, and it was amazing.”
Aniunoh was a regular cast member on TV series MTV Shuga and starred in the Nigerian streaming series Diiche in 2022.
The release date of Love Language is yet to be announced.
