Akindele and Abraham tease new movies

Nollywood actors Funke Akindele (Chief Daddy, Jenifa’s Diary) and Toyin Abraham (Black Val, Ijakumo: the Born Again Stripper) have announced the debut of their new movies, set to hit cinemas in December.

Under her Funke Akindele Network (FAAN) production label, Akindele is set to unveil the latest addition to the Jenifa franchise titled Everybody Loves Jenifa. While details about the movie are scarce, Akindele teased fans on Instagram with the line: “Been long you saw Jenifa.”

Meanwhile, Abraham, through her TAFP production label, is gearing up for the release of the third installment of her Alakada franchise titled Alakada: Bad & Boujee. Abraham shared little about the movie on Instagram, simply stating: “Say Bad and Boujee.”

FAAN is the powerhouse behind movies such as Battle on Bukka Street and A Tribe Called Judah while Abraham has made, directed and starred in several Nigerian films including Alani Baba Labake, Ijakumo: the Born Again Stripper and Ebimini.
