Netflix African reality television series Young, Famous & African, created by Nigerian TV producer Peace Hyde, has been nominated in the 11th edition of the UK’s National Reality TV Awards.

The series was nominated in the Best International Show category alongside other reality shows.

Young, Famous & African focuses on building careers, looking for love and rekindling old flames of famous media personalities from South Africa, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Uganda and Tanzania. It features local stars including Khanyi Mbau, Annie Macaulay-Idibia, Zari Hassan, Diamond Platnumz and Andile Ncube.

The National Reality Television Awards is pleased to announce that Young, Famous & African is nominated for this year’s prestigious 11th annual National Reality TV Awards 2022 (UK). The awards will be presented on July 28 at the Porchester Hall in London.

The National Reality Television Academy was formed in June 2003 to provide support, guidance and representation to aspiring and established producers, talent, and independent production companies within the reality television industry in Europe, North America, South America and Africa.
